Robert W. Jones is an attorney and economics professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He is a graduate of Albany Law School (JD), Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Ph.D.), The William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration (MBA), and Pomona College (BA). Prior to founding Valuation Resource Group, he worked in the Division of Research and Statistics at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and at an investment banking firm focusing on mergers and acquisitions in the banking industry.
Mr. Jones has prepared business valuation reports and assessed economic damages for nearly twenty years, provided expert testimony in state and federal courts, and assisted attorneys in preparing cross-examinations on hundreds of valuation related matters.
